year3 update

This week year 3 have had a tooth workshop we did a word search and we looked at Ella and Laura'S Teeth [Ella and Laura were the teachers There were other Teachers aswell] Ella and Laura put purple vitamins in there mouth so we could see the jerms. We also went to Gege,another teacher. Then we did a activaty to see what was good and bad for your teeth. We also did a science workshop on Seeds we made paper helecopters out of paper. Mrs Talor let us invite our parents. We had 2 drafts of the helicopters. Then we filled in a form of what happend. Yr 6 update

Yr 6 update

This week is test week in yr 6 so that we can practise for SATS in six weeks time.Our new topic is Fair Trade if you have any Fair Trade products or packaging, please bring them into yr 6. Also on Friday 13th the whole school raised money for Red Nose Day,we don't know how much we raised but when we do we'll inform you. The eco club have decided that we should build a greenhouse from 2 litre plastic bottles so if you have any 2 litre bottles please give them to yr 3. Yr 6 bloggers (Aaron and Mckye)

Year 4 update

YEAR 4 UPDATE This week in year 4 we had a visitor and he was called Mr Wilkinson .He helped us with our work. Mr Wilkinson was a joy to have and every time we got stuck he helped us and gave us some ideas. (Mackenzie and Rowan year 4 bloggers)

Year 4 update This week in year 4 we were extreamly lucky because an author and illastrator called Chris Mould came to see years 3 to 6 in the hall and tought us lots of skills and lots of inspiring ideas for reading and writing. Year 4 update This week in year 4 we have been exreamly lucky because a compony came into our school and let us watch there play called big sister small brother.This play is about an evil mother and she tries to put spells on her chilren also 1 of those children get turned into a deer and hunters try to hunt it down.Big sister small brother was very fun to watch and thank you to the teachers who planned it and Jill ansd Bill the preformers. year6 update

This week we are having a Creative Arts Week. The whole school is joining in. We will be doing art, music, computing , dancing and performances. Last week it was assessment week in school-hopfully we all got a good score! Year 6 blogger Aaron and Mckye

Year 4 update

Year 4 update This weeek in Year 4 we have been learning about 10 pieces and we learnt what composing means it means were someone has crated a piece of music and a conductor is the person who tells them when to play the instrements and what instruments they should play.

Yeae 4 update This week in year 4 we have been doing different tests such as maths and reading. The class looked different because all the tables had been mixed up. We all found the test quite hard but we got lots of time to do all of the test. (Mackenzie and Rowan year 4 bloggers)

YEAR 3 UPDATE

This week year 3 have being trying hard to get the most chocalate possible.We have had 3 tables that had choclate on them . Table 1 had 1 chocolate bar 'Table 2 had two chocolate bars and table 3 had 3 chocolate bars. We also recorded the tables that the children went to. It was the best choclate session ever!!! Because we all got 6 sweets [Jacob and Tom.B].

Year 4 update This week on Monday the 19th,the young voices choir went to sheffield arena and sang with thousands of children from different schools. Blog club wants to wish them good luck and we hope they had an immensley good time. (Mackenzie & Rowan Year 4 bloggers)

Yr 6 update

Our new topic is all about space. We think this is the best topic so far. In English we have started to do dabates about space. In computing we have been creating apps and we are introdusing reading eggs. Reading eggs is a website where you do comprehensions to get eggs for your apartment. year 3 update

This week year 3 and 4 have had a fantastic Workshop. Were someone called Sam tought us. It was verry good beacause he showed us how to make Musical Instroments like xylophones flutes and Recoreds. Sam was very freindly because he let us join in with the experements. it was the best work shop ever and evry body loved it you will to!!!!! [JACOB AND TOM.B]

This week year 3 and year4 have had a workshop were sam tought us how to make instroments like floots recorders and zylaphones and Drums sam tought us about vibration and jack jonsohn said that evry instrumant in the universe started high and got lower [JACOB AND TOMB]

Year 4 update

On Tuesday 13th we had a sound workshop with a sound expert. We learnt how fast sound travels and we also learnt sound travels faster in water which is really intresting.We learnt how to make instruments at home very cheaply.In addition to this we learnt that long things make grumbling sounds and short things make squeaking sounds.
